TOTALLY PAINLESS. I've been waxing since I was a teen and stopped for sometime and just started again. The last place I went burnt me and I started having doubts about professionalism anywhere. Thought to try out lay bare since their specialty was waxing. I'm now a loyal customer.
Waxing is suppose to make your hair grow back slower and more fine. Never happened until now! And painless? YUP! And if the wax doesn't get all the hair out they'll offer threading! For the service I got I pay easily 600-800 everywhere else, at lay bare 250 lang! Super sulit, price and quality. |

I just want to make a comment about my experience with LayBare Don Antonio branch today (Monday). It was actually my teenage daughter who wanted a service and I accompanied her. Similar to our first visit, there was a video movie being shown. Although the screens are only available in the waxing areas, the reception has the audio (loud). Today, they were showing SEX AND THE CITY movie and for those of you familiar with this, you would know how inappropriate the scenes and the languages are for minors so you can just imagine the situation in the reception area where we could hear the talks about sex and the ohs and ahs. I discreetly asked the lady in the reception to change the movie since I have two kids with me. I was disappointed that Laybare will show this movie but I was totally disappointed to hear the lady's response - "we normally finish a movie before we change it"! Now you tell me, should I still continue with your service or try another salon (not Laybare) and endorse it instead? - Mrs Ong |

As I browse this website, I read the tip of the day that says, "Skipping Coffee - Don't drink a lot of caffeine on the day of your waxing appointment - caffeine stimulates the nervous system and makes waxing more painful." LOL. I just had my BW done (SM Fairview), and until now I was wondering why was it more painful this time as compared to my last BW? Eh diba dapat, mas less na ang pain habang tumatagal? Guess what, before going to LayBare, I drown myself with 3 (yes, 3!) cups of black coffee. Haha. Lesson learned. Maybe next time, I should drink a bottle of beer instead. :P |
